From the rising of the sun, to the setting of the same, The Lord’s name is to be praised.
Isn’t it wonderful to rise in the morning singing praise and giving all the glory to God. I have that irreplaceable feeling every morning, thinking how blessed I am to have been given another day, only the Lord knows our days.
Today was going to be special in a different way, I was attending a recommended Pentecostal church in Rotherham, Liberty church.I know a couple of people that attend there, Chris and Linda Bennett whom I had the privilege of meeting when they came on mission to Rochdale with Jonathan Conrathe, the evangelist who led me to Christ and a young lady by the name of Michelle whom I knew through them and also through encouraging discussions on social media.
We turned up to ensure that Bertie had a good walk around prior to standing guard in the tour bus. We alighted past the now derelict Football stadium, it’s replacement stood shiny and new just a short walk away, but the most striking feature in the area adorned the church exterior wall for all to see.
LOVE GOD , LOVE PEOPLE.
Such a beautiful, simplistic message . Don’t we complicate things.
Rotherham, like Rochdale has recently had it’s name in many headlines for all the wrong reasons.
There was no wrong reasons here, inside this church of Jesus, people had come together to worship God and hear God’s word, we got ample portions.
Beautifully anointed worship, Spirit led by Iona followed by God’s word delivered with passion, love and fire through a Liberty pastor John.
Centering on Ecclesiastes 3:5, “ a time to gather stones “, the message of revival and evangelism speared through Romans 10 : 13-15 “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. Revival starts firmly with the believer.
Are you, calling on Jesus Christ or called by?
We all carry the message, the most powerful message in the world, the gospel of Jesus Christ , what are we going to do with it?
If we follow Jesus then we need to seek and save the lost. Luke 19 :10. Amen
I thank the Lord for strengthening friendship with my sisters Michelle and Tracy and for new friendships formed with Andy Mac. Who have a great future ahead, as they have a great Saviour within.
